This property is perfect for large families or groups. The house is split into two areas with the main house being able to sleep 7 and the separate bunkhouse sleeping another 5 meaning the house can sleep up to 12 people.
The house is two storey with the bedrooms upstairs and living areas downstairs plus the bunkhouse.

Centrally located with reserve land between the house and lake and only a 7-minute walk to downtown Queenstown.

We have our home professional cleaned and use hired linen.


Someone from The Butler is just a phone call away.


Lakefront Terrace is in a quiet cul-de-sac close to town. The house fronts onto Reserve Land with a large running-around-area for kids just through the gate. Across the reserve is Park Street and the lake.
A seven minute stroll through the nearby Queenstown Botanical gardens will bring you to the restaurants, cafes, shops and nightlife of downtown.


Apart from a couple of lock-up cupboards, (and owner's bikes are not available for use) guests have full access to the house
Note although you are unable to park your vehicle in the garage there is parking onsite for up to 3 vehicles and street parking nearby if required. There is space in the garage to store your ski gear, bikes or golf clubs.


Masses of room and loads of flexibility - sleeps from 2 - 12 people with the Bunkroom. This price is for the Entire House including the Bunkroom.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms (2x Queen, 1x Twin Single or King, 1x Single) and 2x bathrooms (an ensuite in the Master bedroom and a bathroom with separate toilet on the landing. Downstairs there are 2x lounges both with Netflix capable TV's and the main lounge has SkyTV, there are also 2 dining areas, laundry, separate toilet and a large fully equipped kitchen. The standalone ‘Bunkhouse’ has currently has 6 Single bunk beds and a separate Queen bedroom (however this will be changing to 3 single beds + Queen bed) there is one bathroom with separate toilet along with a small lounge, fridge and work bench.

There is a BBQ at the rear of the house with outdoor dining table and two deck areas out the front of the property where you can enjoy the view of Lake Wakatipu..

Full laundry – washing line outside in the garden and dryer in the laundry room - and guest toilet are off the middle hallway.

Nightly rate includes free WiFi and Linen Hire.

IMPORTANT: Although there are bunk beds pictured depending on when you stay these may have been replaced by 3 single beds. Please check with us before booking to confirm the current bed setup.


If mountain-biking is your plan, this is the perfect base in Queenstown - ride on out the gate to the Frankton Track which leads to endless tracks in the area. There is plenty of storage space for bikes in the garage. (Note: Owners bikes are not for guest use)

At the back of the garage is the Drying Room for ski and boarding gear.

Just a 7 minute walk to Central Queenstown - access to all buses and taxis from there. Or a bus-stop just around the corner on Frankton Road.


This property has lots of stairs and is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
This is not a party house.

House Rules

This house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood - not suitable for parties or too much noise.
No smoking in any part of the house.
No pets allowed.
House would need to be left locked and tidy, with dishes done and rubbish in the big bins – our cleaners will take care of the rest.

Rubbish bins MUST be put out Tuesday night for Wednesday morning collection

Please do to use outdoor areas after 10pm and before 7am

Must be 25 years or older to book. Person booking must stay at the house.

No Parties or events allowed - including Hens or Bucks groups

Cancellation Policy

We will refund
100% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled over 90 days prior to your arrival date.
80% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled 61-90 days prior to your arrival date.
50% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled 30 - 60 days prior to your arrival date.
There will be no refund applicable for any bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to your arrival date.

** Note - Cancellations due to Covid-19 lockdown or Covid-19 border closures can change dates free of charge or cancel the booking for a 50% refund* & 50% house credit.  House credit valid for 1 year from date of original booking.

Our family stay at Lakefront Terrace was great. The house is immaculately presented and very well appointed. The short flat walk through the botanic gardens into the centre of town made looking for a carpark in town irrelevant. Having a hot shower that close after a swim in the lake is pure luxury.

Great house, perfect location for the marathon right next to the lake. Easy walk into town and beautiful views of the lake and mountains. Lots of space for the extended family to spread out, the kids loved the bunk room and the extra lounge! Well equipped kitchen.

INCREDIBLE, just incredible It was absolutely perfect for us. The location was unbelievable, the house was seriously as if it had been made for our crazy family gathering. We had NO complaints at all, and will definitely stay again

Everyone who stayed rated the ambience as warm and welcoming. The chefs enjoyed the well equipped kitchen with fabulous views. The boys loved the park out front as a play space. Proximity to walkways and shops was great.

We loved our stay at this house. We had a large group of 14 adults which were accommodated with ease. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment which enabled us to easily cook for our large group. The view of the lake was spectacular! We also walked into the centre of town on a couple of nights and found the walk quick and easy giving us a great night in town. I would highly recommend booking this place for your next holiday.

Deborah's place was wonderful for our group of 11 people! Place was clean, super cosy, and conveniently located just 5 minutes away from town centre. Just watch for the 3 flights of stairs to climb down to the house!

Fantastic Property
Fantastic property, well stocked, clean and quiet with an easy 15 min stroll into Queenstown centre. A great property for our group of two young families to stay. Bunk beds, queen bed + bathroom located in a seperate building to the main house. Would definitely like to stay again.

We were a large group staying for the Queenstown Marathon. Absolutely fantastic property, location, views, communication.... everything! Heaps of kitchen equipment for all, a pantry of items for those small things, & just a superb peaceful stunning place to stay. We will def be back. Planning for 2020 is underway already.
