The home has fantastic views over Lake Wakatipu and include the Remarkable Mountains. It is located within a short walk to town along the shores of Lake Wakatipu so A+ for location. Don't forget to ask about the option of hiring a spa pool.

Neighborhood

Villa Lake Terrace is located on The Terrace which is in a quiet cul-de-sac close to town.
A 15 - 20 minute stroll through the nearby Queenstown Botanical gardens will bring you to the restaurants, cafes, shops and nightlife of downtown.

Access

We have parking onsite for up to 4 vehicles (2 in the garage & 2 in the driveway. The garage has a height clearance of 185cm - please take this into account when booking your rental car.

Space

Villas Lake Terrace is spread out over two apartments (16A & 16B) which makes it the perfect holiday home for those travelling with family and friends who want to stay together but still have their own space.

The property has 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 powder rooms, 2 kitchens, 2 dining areas, 2 lounges and 2 outdoor areas.

The rooms are split across two apartments which makes it perfect for larger groups or 2+ families holidaying together. The home has fantastic views over Lake Wakatipu and include the Remarkable Mountains.

Note: There is no internal door between the units.

16A – Master Bedroom (upstairs) – Queen bed and Ensuite

On the entrance level in each apartment is the kitchen, dining, lounge & powder room. The lounge has a Smart TV so you can access to your own Netflix account. The views from the lounge and dining area are beautiful.

The property has a lovely garden which is full of flowers in the spring & summer. We also have 2 very old and well established grape vines which guests are welcome to enjoy.

We have heaters in the main living areas and column heaters in all the bedrooms to keep the house nice and warm during winter.
Note: Only 16A has an AC unit

There is an option of hiring a portable spa for the property - please enquire if interested.



Transit

If mountain-biking is your plan, this is the perfect base in Queenstown - just a short ride from the house is access to the Frankton Track which leads to endless tracks in the area. There is plenty of storage space for bikes in the garage.

Just a 15 - 20 minute walk to Central Queenstown - access to all buses and taxis from there. Ski buses stop approx 550m away on Frankton Road as well.

Notes

There are two BBQ's at this property and 2 outdoor dining areas.
This property has lots of stairs and is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
This is not a party house.
There is no connecting door between the 2 units
There is house being constructed near by so some construction noise may be noted during the day.
We use professional cleaners and hired linen to ensure our home is cleaned to the highest standards and COVID protocols.

House Rules

This house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood - not suitable for parties or too much noise.
No smoking in any part of the house.
No pets allowed.
House would need to be left locked and tidy, with dishes done and rubbish in the big bins – our cleaners will take care of the rest.

Rubbish bins MUST be put out Tuesday night for Wednesday morning collection

Please do to use outdoor areas after 10pm and before 7am

Parking in designated areas only

Guests must be at least 22 years old to book and person booking must stay at the house.


Cancellation Policy

We will refund
100% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled over 90 days prior to your arrival date.
80% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled 61-90 days prior to your arrival date.
50% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled 30 - 60 days prior to your arrival date.
There will be no refund applicable for any bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to your arrival date.

* excluding any credit card fees paid

** Note - Cancellations due to Covid-19 lockdown or Covid-19 border closures can change dates free of charge or cancel the booking for a 50% refund* & 50% house credit.  House credit valid for 1 year from date of original booking.

The house was beautiful, easy to access and not too far from the airport by taxi. The main town was easily walkable and it was a 1 minute walk to a fantastic swimming point. The house was also very clean and great for bigger groups.
