Mountain Retreat is a 3 bedroom apartment that is just a short walk away from downtown Queenstown. The apartment has stunning views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables and surrounding mountains.

Located on Thompson Street this apartment is part of a complex in a quiet residential area that is just short walk from downtown Queenstown. The close proximity to the town centre means you don't have to worry about finding a park when heading into town just leave it at the apartment and walk in. It is a bit of a uphill walk back so you may wish to catch a taxi back if you don't feel like walking.
Other than a locked storage cupboard, guests have full access to the house and garage.
The driveway is shared with the other guests in the complex. There is parking at the apartment for one vehicle in the garage only any other vehicles will need to find street parking. If your vehicle has a storage box on top it will not fit in.
The 3 bedrooms are located on the lower level. The master bedroom has an ensuite while bedrooms 2 & 3 share a bathroom which has a spa bath, shower & separate toilet.
Bedrooms 2 & 3 can be setup as 2 singles or 1 King. (note Bedroom 3 does not have a view)
The open plan kitchen, dining & living area is located on the top floor and has a balcony to sit and enjoy the spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
The kitchen is well equipped with Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee machine, Blender, Rice Cooker, dishwasher, oven, microwave, cooktop and of course cutlery & crockery.
The lounge has a large Smart TV which is Nexflix capable & has some Sky TV channels.
The garage is fitted with a ski storage and drying room and bike storage.
The apartment is fitted with all safety features including carbon monoxide detector.
9km drive from Queenstown Airport (15 minute drive)
700m to the Steamer Wharf (approx. 8-10 min walk)
900m to Fergburger (approx. 15 min walk)
15.7km to Coronet Peak Ski Field carpark (approx. 22 minute drive)

This property is set out over a number of levels all accessed by stairs - this property does not suit someone with mobility issues.
There is parking in the garage for 1 vehicle any additional vehicles will need to find parking on the street. If your vehicle has a storage box on top it will not fit in.
Bedroom 3 does not have a view.
We have a cot & highchair that can be hired for an additional cost - please enquire.
This house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood - not suitable for parties or too much noise. No smoking in any part of the house. No pets allowed. On departure the house is to be locked with all lights & appliances off. The house should be left tidy, with dishes done and rubbish in the bins provided – our cleaners will change beds and clean bathrooms.
Please do not use outside areas after 10pm and before 7am
Guest must be 25 or over to book and the person booking must stay at the house.
We will refund
100% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled over 90 days prior to your arrival date.
80% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled 61-90 days prior to your arrival date.
50% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled 30 - 60 days prior to your arrival date.
There will be no refund applicable for any bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to your arrival date.
