Description
Lake Townhouse is in an excellent location to base yourself when coming to Queenstown - just 200m from the Steamer Wharf where many of the great restaurants and attractions are based.
It is a spacious 3 bedroom townhouse, featuring a balcony with stunning panoramic view of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountain.
The dining area is open plan with the kitchen and a spacious living area. The gas fireplace in the living area and underfloor heating will keep you warm during the cold months.
Interaction
Someone from The Butler may meet and greet you onsite depending on time of arrival. Otherwise they are just a phone call away.
Neighborhood
Lake Townhouse is located in a quiet complex just 200m from the lake front. It is just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of downtown Queenstown with easy access to Restaurants and activities. Lake Street is a steep hill so that 200m coming back up at the end of day can seem longer than the walk down.
Access
Guests have access to the whole house excluding a couple of locked cupboards in the garage.
Space
Open plan living, dining and kitchen with great views to Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkable Mountains. You can stand out on the balcony and watch the Earnslaw head out for its daily trips or even better enjoy a glass of local wine and watch the sun set before heading in to town to enjoy our many restaurants.
The Lake Townhouse features a fully equipped modern kitchen with gas cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, slow cooker, rice cooker, waffle maker, blender, sandwich press and the all important Coffee Machine.
The townhouse has 3 bedrooms which are setup as follows:
Master bedroom has a King bed with Ensuite bathroom
Bedroom 2 can be setup as either 2 singles or 1 King
Bedroom 3 has 2 sets of bunk beds so can sleep 4 people.
The main bathroom is shared by bedrooms 2 & 3 and there is an additional toilet on the upstairs level.
In the garage the townhouse has the following items for guests to use.
Note: Use of these items is at guests own risk the owners or property manager cannot be held responsible for any injury while using these items.
- Ping Pong Table
- Dart Board
- 3 x bikes (1 child, 2 adult) all with helmets
- 2 x Bean Bags
- Ski storage & ski boot drying rack
Washing machine and dryer can be found in the laundry cupboard in the garage. Also located in the Double garage is a heated ski boot drying rack - how good will that be putting warm boots on in the mornings.
Transit
You can catch a taxi, bus or shuttle from the airport to the townhouse so you do not require a car to stay at Lake Townhouse as you can walk into town without the hassle of having to find a park. There are buses that go from the bottom of the street to Frankton, Five Mile and other areas. If you do have a car there is parking in the Double garage for you.
Notes
You must be 25 or older to book this property and the person booking must be staying a the property. There are no parties allowed at this property and we do not let to Hen's or Bucks groups.
There are stairs at this property so not suitable for someone with mobility issues.
There is no cot or highchair at the house but we can arrange to hire them if needed - please ask.
House Rules
No parties, loud music or anti-social behaviour - please respect our neighbours. Outdoor area not to be used between 10pm - 7am per council rules
House to be left tidy with dishes done and rubbish in the bins provided. Bins to go out Tuesday night for collection Wednesday morning.
There shall be no amplified sound played in the garden (Outdoor Living Area) between the hours of 8.00pm and 8.00am - per council rules
No drones allowed. No smoking in the house. Please supervise your children outdoors & on the stairs
Maximum 8 guests at the house. No additional guests sleeping on the sofas.
There shall be no use of illegal substances or conduct of illegal activities at the property
You must be 25 years or older to book this property and the person booking must stay.
Cancellation Policy
We will refund
100% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled over 90 days prior to your arrival date.
80% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled 61-90 days prior to your arrival date.
50% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled 30 – 60 days prior to your arrival date.
There will be no refund applicable for any bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to your arrival date.

** Note – Cancellations due to Covid-19 lockdown or Covid-19 border closures can change dates free of charge or cancel the booking for a 50% refund* & 50% house credit. House credit valid for 1 year from date of original booking.
