The open plan living/dining and kitchen area is warm and cosy with its stylish red wood fire and also has a floor mounted reverse cycle heating/cooling system.

Falcons Retreat is located in a quiet street back off the road therefore is it not suitable for parties or loud music.
We are located less than a 10 minute drive from Queenstown airport and the Frankton shopping area. There you will find large supermarkets, a full range of shops and many cafes. Queenstown is a 20 minute drive away. The Jacks Point golf course is only a short walk or minutes drive . There is over 35km of walking, hiking and cycling tracks right at the back door. It is less than 2 hours drive from Invercargill and is on the route from Queenstown to Milford Sound. And only few minutes drive to the base and entrance of the Remarkable’s ski field.
Originally farmland the Jacks Point Estate has been developed trying to keep the 3,000 acres in harmony with their original surroundings. From the planting of native fauna to the design of the houses this estate was 15 years in the planning.
Jacks Point is home to the acclaimed 18 hole Championship Golf Course, it has extensive mountain bike and walking trails, tennis courts, playground, sports fields and not to forget the Clubhouse and Restaurant which sit on the picturesque Lake Tewa which is also available for fly fishing. Guests have access to the whole house except a locked cupboard in the garage.
There is only parking for 1 standard vehicle in the garage as owner has their vehicle in the garage as well.
The front door opens into a light a bright open plan living area with kitchen, lounge & dining areas. Moving to your right is the hallway that takes you to the powder room, laundry and the 3 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms.
Firewood is supplied for the fireplace and we also provide towels for the spa. The bathrooms have heated floors to keep your feet warm in winter.
Stepping out the sliding doors onto the wrap around deck where we have a outdoor spa area then at the front of the house a seating area and Weber BBQ.
The master bedroom is at one end of the house and has large windows to capture the view. It also has an ensuite and walk in robe.
The other two bedrooms are separated by the bathroom and a small study area. Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed and Bedroom 3 has 2 singles. The bedding setup cannot be changed.
You will be surprised by the space this house has.
It is recommended you have a car but not essential as there is a public bus that runs from Jack Point every hour.
We are approx 10 minutes from the airport and the Frankton shopping district. Less than 5 minutes to the bottom carpark to The Remarkables Ski field and only 20 minutes into downtown Queenstown
The property has a lot of starts leading up to it and internal stairs leading down to the garage - it is not suitable for someone with mobility issues.
The spa pool is not to be used between 10pm - 7am per council rules.
The Garage has parking for one standard vehicle - please note the owner will also have their vehicle in the garage so care must be taken. The is street parking available if required.
Cot & Highchair are available for hire if required - please ask.
The house is to be left tidy with dishes done, rubbish in the big bins provided and all windows and doors locked.
Rubbish bins to be put out for collection on Thursday night for Friday collection. Refer to the in-house compendium for more details.
Children must be supervised on decking, in the spa pool & around the fireplace
No loud parties - please be respectful of our neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum. There shall be no amplified sound played in the garden (Outdoor Living Area) between the hours of 8.00pm and 8.00am Use of Spa & outdoor areas are not allowed after 10pm and before 7am (per council rules)
No smoking. There shall be no use of illegal substances or conduct of illegal activities at the property
You must be 25 years or older to book this property and the person booking must stay.
We will refund
100% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled over 90 days prior to your arrival date.
80% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled 61-90 days prior to your arrival date.
50% of your total funds paid* less NZ$150 admin fee for all bookings cancelled 30 – 60 days prior to your arrival date.
There will be no refund applicable for any bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to your arrival date.

** Note – Cancellations due to Covid-19 lockdown or Covid-19 border closures can change dates free of charge or cancel the booking for a 50% refund* & 50% house credit. House credit valid for 1 year from date of original booking.
